SONGWRITING
One of my truest and deepest passions in life has always been music. As far back as I can remember, I always had a knack for creative writing, and I began taking songwriting very seriously in high school. Here are some of the musical works I have either created or been a part of that have been made accessible to the rest of the world. Hope you enjoy. :)

It has been one of the greatest joys of my life to create music over the years with one of my childhood best friends, Dalan. While I have written dozens upon dozens of songs with him, something about this one felt unusually special. It has been such an honor to hear my words sung over such a beautiful track and to know that somewhere in the world, someone else may be hearing them too.
The lyrics and structure of this song aimed to replicate the repetitive, or “circular,” nature of an unfulfilling relationship between two incompatible individuals who are seemingly in love. Though we may find ourselves doing all the right things and being selfless in our forgiveness, a relationship is inevitably doomed once half of the partnership has fallen apathetic enough to stop matching the efforts of their counterpart. Oftentimes, offering another chance for the other to do better is not what’s needed, but instead becomes the vicious fuel that feeds a never-ending cycle of toxicity, delusion, and denial. Though the beautiful, bright moments have the ability to shield us from or “drown out” the ugly, we must eventually choose if we want to change the record or let it continue to spin around in circles.
